Name: Glynn Barrington Position: Finance Director   Profile: Glynn began his career in 1976 with a buying group for independent builders and plumbers merchants known as the National Merchant Buying Society Ltd (NMBS).

Starting at the bottom of the ladder as office junior, he rose through the ranks during his 24 years of service to Finance Manager.

In September 2000 he left NMBS to join John Nicholls as Finance Director. It was a great opportunity for him to join a family owned, very successful independent builders merchant and he became the first non-family member of the board

The company, of which he is very proud to be a part, has made great progress in the last three and a half years.
